On the 21^st of March was the preem demonstration of modernized BMD-4 airborne assault vehicle at Kurganmashzavod’s proving ground.
N.F. Ershov, the headman of General Tank-Automation Command of the Ministry of Defence, V.E. Evtukhovich, the commander of airborne troops, M.G. Bolotin, the president of Concern “Tractor Plants” and O.A. Bogomolov, the governor of Kurgan region and also, the numerous journalist fraternity: the delegates from TV-channels, Internet-portals, Informative agencies, magazines and newspapers came to Kurgan for formalization with the gadget.

Good way "AICHELIN" for long years!
At the end of January our joint-stock company was visited by Mr. Denzin Ole, the president of "AICHELIN" set supplier, with purpose to familiarize with the results of mounting and putting into operation of the purchased equipment. He thanked the collective for high quality of work for putting the furnaces on natural gas into operation (1 phase of the line operates on electric heating). With starting the second phase, output by chemical-and-thermal treatment of parts doubled, quality of products improved.

The town dwellers will remember the 8th and 9th of February not due to low temperature but the exhibition of products of Trans-Ural region big industrial enterprises that was held at the central square of Kurgan. The exhibition was organized for 65-year anniversary of Kurgan region.

Urgent consolidation of the whole of Russia’s machinebuilding industry and all authorities has become a prerequisite for the country’s switch to a new Russian industry development strategy. We asked Mikhail Bolotin, President of the Tractor Plants Concern, for an input on this and other changes to the machinebuilding branch this year.
