Protection

The BMP-2 hull and turret ensure reliable protection of the crew and the troopers against small arms and splinters of shells. The vehicle is fitted with NBC protection system, ensuring protection against radiation and other damaging effects of mass destruction weapons. To provide camouflage smoke setting the vehicle is equipped with a smoke generating equipment (SGE) and 902V smoke grenade launching  system.
