Fire power

Fire power of the upgraded BMP-2 is boosted due to improvement of the fire control system and the armament system.

Upgrades for the BMP-2 fire control system include PNK-2-42 thermal imaging sighting system with independent stabilization of line-of-sight, an ATGM guidance channel and a laser range finder or BPK-3-42  gunner's sight with a third-generation image intensifier, and TKN-AI commander's vision device.

To improve the armament system the upgraded BMP-2 can be fitted with a 30-mm automatic grenade launcher AG-17 ensuring gazing and high fire trajectory.
