A new UTD-32T turbocharged diesel engine rated at 660 h.p. enables to increase specific power factor and dynamic behaviour of the upgraded BMP-3. The engine is fully adapted for operation in hot climate conditions due to its forced cooling system.

A new TVK-1 day/night vision device for the driver dramatically improves the driving capabilities at night.
